ENEOS Corporation (President: Katsuyuki Ota“ENEOS”) is pleased to announce the development of a new “ENEOS EV FLUID” series, which are specialized to suit the requirements for the various drive systems of electric and hybrid vehicles.
Electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles are expected to become more popular in the future, and they will require specialized fluids with high performance in insulation, cooling and gear protection.
ENEOS has been involved in the development of wide variety of lubricants including automotive lubricants for many decades. Using the accumulated knowledge and technology through such development, ENEOS has established a unique automobile lubricant technology that can meet the new performance requirements for electric vehicles at a high level. ENEOS EV FLUID series consists of six different products (described on the next page), each with its own unique features, to ensure optimal performance in a variety of operating environments.
ENEOS plans to introduce ENEOS EV FLUID series mainly to Japanese and Chinese manufacturers of electric vehicles, hybrid vehicles, and related components. Thereafter, ENEOS aims to expand globally in response to the demands and needs of each country and region. ENEOS will be examining the introduction of ENEOS EV FLUID series to the market as general consumer products in the future.
