SKG Global organized a programme in Delhi on behalf of JX Nippon TWO Lubricants for Road Side mechanics.The event was held on 24th June 2019 at Surya Green Banquet, Dwarka Mod,Delhi. In this area there is some concentration of road side garages. On this summer day with the mercury at over 45 deg C, nearly 70 mechanics attended the programme.
The session carried the theme of Health Safety & Enviropnment. These are the much neglected aspects of an auto mechanic’s life in the unorganized part of the automotive trade in India.
From Jx Nippon side, Ms Bina Roy and Mr Amit attended the programme. At the beginning of the session, Ms Bina briefly introduced ENOS company and gave an outline of the CSR event.
Main feature of the programme was an audio visual training session that was conducted by Mr Kundan. Trainer used a PPT presentation to cover in some details the various nuances of HSE topics.
Mechanics were handed over a take away kit that included a printed booklet of the learning material. Kit also included a pair of safety glasses, a pair of gloves as also one breathing mask. Trainer explained the importance of each of these items and also explained the process of their usage.
After the main session, each participant was handed over a certificate. The programme then concluded with the distribution of lunch packets to participants who had taken time off from their demanding work schedule.
